FAQ
Can I combine several Nordic countries in one trip?
Yes. We specialise in multi-country Nordic journeys. Many of our tours combine Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, while Arctic itineraries often connect Norway, Sweden and Finland. We can shape the Nordics around your wishes, pace and interests, in whatever combination works best for you.
What is the best time to visit the Nordics?
It depends on the experience you are looking for. In summer, we recommend exploring the Nordic capitals and Finland's Lakeland region, while the Arctic offers something completely different with its nightless nights and Midnight Sun. In winter, Lapland and the Arctic become truly special, with snowy landscapes, Northern Lights and unforgettable winter experiences.
How many days should I allow for a Nordic journey?
For one destination, around 4–7 days can work well. Our multi-country journeys are generally around 10–12 days, allowing enough time to experience each destination without feeling rushed. We always tailor the journey around your wishes, budget, preferred activities and travel style.
Can you create a tailor-made itinerary?
Yes. We can design your journey around your interests, travel dates, budget, preferred pace and the experiences you would most like to include. Whether you have a clear idea already or need help putting everything together, we can create a Nordic journey that works for you.
Do I need to book activities and accommodation in advance?
Yes, especially during peak travel periods. In summer, advance booking is often needed for popular experiences in Norway and the Nordic capitals. In winter, some of Lapland's most sought-after accommodations and activities can book up well in advance, particularly around Christmas and New Year. Booking early can also give you more choice and may help keep the overall trip budget under control.
Are the Nordics suitable for families?
Yes. The Nordics are very well suited to family travel, with nature, outdoor experiences, easy-to-navigate cities and activities for different ages. If you are travelling with young children and would like extra support, talk to our experts. We can help arrange practical assistance and family-friendly services on the ground to make the journey easier and more comfortable.
